Guelph Symphony Orchestra’s Musicians’ Choice concert shines the spotlight on emerging artists. Sunday, February 12 @ 3 pm, River Run Centre

YouTube sensations, Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown of ASAPScience (of ‘What Colour is this Dress’ fame, and authors of the New York Times best selling book, AsapSCIENCE: Answers to the World’s Weirdest Questions, Most Persistent Rumors, and Unexplained Phenomena ) , will perform their Periodic Table Song.
The GSO Under-23 Concerto winners , Morgan Melbourne (Grieg Piano Concerto), Felix Hong (Prokofiev Piano Concerto no. 1) and Leslie Ashworth (Barber Violin Concerto) will rock the house with their impassioned performances
Dylan Langan, the GSO’s new Assistant Conductor will make his debut, conducting the Barber
The concert will conclude with one of the most well-known, masterpieces in the symphonic repertoire. Fourteen years in the making, Brahms Symphony No. 1 is the Musicians’ Choice!
