The Guelph Symphony Youth Orchestra is open to young musicians under the age of 28. Admission is by audition. Rehearsals are held on campus, at the University of Guelph on Fridays from 4-6pm, in room 203 of the McKinnon Building. In addition to rehearsing challenging orchestral repertoire, musicians will receive regular coaching and mentoring from the professional musicians of the Guelph Symphony Orchestra.

GYSO musicians will present two public concerts, perform side-by-side with the GSO and perform in various outreach concerts as opportunities arise.
