Keren Canche

Cello

When a little Mexican girl named Keren saw a cello, it was love at first sight. Within a few short years she was performing with the Children's National Symphony Orchestra in Mexico City. After her bachelors in music, she played in the Orquesta Filarmonica de Boca Del Rio, Veracruz, which was a dream come true. But it wasn't enough. She left for Canada to earn a masters in music, followed by a diploma in advanced studies in performance under Paul Marleyn at UOttawa. In 2025 Keren was invited back to Mexico to play as a distinguished soloist with the Campeche Symphony Orchestra. Meanwhile in Canada, full time work as a performer, arranger, and composer has brought her to Fergus, Ontario, and membership in the GSO brings her regularly to Guelph. Keren IS a cellist, and she loves playing for you!
