
Biography
Born in 2015, Khloe Wu has been playing piano since age four and half and is currently under guidance of Dr. Michael Berkovsky in Toronto. She has also worked with great musicians including JJ Jun Li Bui, Charlotte Hu, Ilya Itin and Adam Zukiewicz. Khloe entered her first music competition at age 5 and since then has become a first-place winner in several national and international competitions including Little Mozarts, Crescendo International Music Competition, Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival, North York Music Festival, Unionville Music Competition, etc.
At age of 7, she competed at the 2022 Canadian Music Competition and won 1st place at the National final round. She was also the youngest candidate to make it to the semi-finals in the 2022 Classicalia Global Televised Music Competition. In May 2023, Khloe had her concerto debut with Burlington New Millenium Orchestra, led by Maestro Charles Cozens, at the Prodigiem Regional Rising Star Showcase. Later in that summer, Khloe made her first appearance in Europe competing with 19 candidates at the 30th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition for Children and Youth in Poland. Despite of her young age (she was the only and youngest candidate of 8 years old), Khloe ranked number 10 following her remarkable performances! Furthermore, Khloe was recently awarded second place at the prestigious Juene Chopin International Piano Competition in Lugano, Switzerland (March 2025). The competition, dedicated to celebrating Chopin’s music, brought together talented young musicians from worldwide and was chaired by renowned pianist Martha Argerich.
Last but not least, Khloe has just been admitted to the Phil and Eli Tayor Performance Academy for Young Artists within The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM), where she will begin her new journey in September 2025. In her free time, Khloe enjoys drawing, singing, snowboarding, and has a special passion for drama.
